今後はWeb標準に準拠してください
マイクロソフトの次期ブラウザIE8のベータ2が公開されましたね。IE6の時代が長くて、この間やっとIE7にバージョンアップしたような気がしますが、もう、IE8だそうです。
IE8は、6,7に比べて格段にWebページの表示が速いとか。また、使い勝手も大幅に向上しているそうです。しかし、Webで情報発信をしているものにとって、最も気になるのは表示などの互換性。これについてマイクロソフトでは、
「これまではIE7に対応してくださいとお願いしてきたが、今後はWeb標準に準拠してくださいということになる」
との事。
正直言って「なんですと！」というのが私の感想。まぁ、良い方向に進んでいるんでしょうけど。
