自然派ワインの生産者とＩＸＹで記念写真

昨日はフランスのブルゴーニュ地方で
ビオディナミという有機栽培の延長線上にある特殊な農法を実践している生産者のセミナー・試飲会＆日本酒・etcセミナー試飲会に行ってきました。
１４歳で自然な農業に目覚め４８歳の現在まで一貫継続しているブロゴーニュ最古のビオディナミストです。

ビオディナミでは、土壌を活性化させ、葡萄樹の生命力を高めることに重点がおかれ、
可能な限り、もしくは全て化学物質を畑から排除します。
農薬や化学肥料の使用は禁止されており、
代わりにノコギリソウやカミツレなどの植物を煎じたものや、家畜の堆肥など自然な肥料に置き換えます。

例えれば、
農薬・テクノロジーを駆使した現代の葡萄栽培・醸造が西洋医学の主流である対処療法であるとすれば、
ビオディナミはホメオパシー（同毒療法・・・下痢に下剤というような）であると言われています。

この農法から造られたワインに魅せられていますが、まず味わいから魅せられ、考え方・価値観にも共感しています。

このご夫婦、ご主人はブルゴーニュで、奥様はアルザスで、それぞれビオディナミでワインを造っています。
週末はお互いが３００キロを行き来する週末婚？だそう。
親しくお付き合いのある同行の通訳から、「とっても仲がいい！」と私生活の披露もありました。
距離が愛を深めているのか、夫婦のカタチは本当にイロイロ。
結婚７年目のご夫婦の初来日は新婚旅行でもあったようです。

生産者と会って話しを聞くこと、人柄に触れることは、そのワインを口にしたとき顔が浮かび栽培醸造の様子が浮かび、モチベーションを高めてくれます。
