ルイ･ヴィトン値上げ
11月1日にルイ･ヴィトンが値上げを発表しました。
ルイ･ヴィトンのホームページに「価格改定のお知らせ」が掲載されています。
理由はユーロ高基調が続いたため、ということで一部のルイ・ヴィトン製品の販売価格が11月13日から平均2.5％値上げになるそうです。
今回は約半数の製品が値上げされるようです。
これまでもルイ･ヴィトンは円とユーロの為替変動によって価格が見直され、値上げや値下げをしてきています。
今回は、今年4月の値上げに続き今年2回目の値上げということになります。
現在では日本人の20歳以上の女性の半分50％の人が何かしらのヴィトンを持っている、20代の女性に至っては95％の人がヴィトンを持っていると言われています。
どうして世界でも特に日本人に好まれるのか不思議といえば不思議な話です。
モノグラムのデザインが出来たのが19世紀末。
当時のダミエデザインの模倣品を防ぐために考案されたのがLVの文字と星と花をモチーフにしたモノグラムキャンバスです。
ルイ・ヴィトン2代目のジョルジュ・ヴィトンが、日本の家紋からインスピレーションを受けて発案されたとも言われていますので、その家紋風なデザインがなんとなく日本人になじみやすいとか？
今回の値上げについて、ヴィトナーのみなさんはどう思っているのか興味がわくところですが、ルイ･ヴィトンの値上げを歓迎している、という声もちらほら・・・
それは、自分の持っているルイ･ヴィトン製品の価値が上がるからだそうです。
逆に値下げをしたときにクレームになったこともある、という話も聞いたことがあります。
自分の持っているルイ･ヴィトン製品の価値が下がるからだそうです。
なるほどなるほど・・・

そうなんですか。うちの女房は持ってません、お袋も持ってません。わたしの周りだけヴィトン率が低いのかな。
まぁ、二人ともヴィトンを持っていても似合わないような気がしますが。

似合うかどうかは持ってみないと分かりませんですはい。
奥様にはモノグラムラインかエピラインをお母様にはダミエラインなんかお似合いかと思います。
