コスモスはギリシャ語で、調和、秩序、美麗の意だそうです。
まさしく、言い当てた感じがします。

関東大震災の時も、コスモスが生命力豊かに咲いていたと、誰かから聞いたことがあります。
どのような、厳しき環境にも負けない花。

昨日、ある経営者の方と話す機会があり、いろいろ難しい時代を生き抜いていくことを聞かせてもらいました。昨今の自殺者が３万数千人、その七倍が自殺未遂、つまり松本市の人口位が自殺を実行している事になると心配しているのを、その方は語っておりました。

コスモスのように、人々に美麗をプレゼントして、生き抜いて、コスモスの様にどんな環境でも勝っていくしか、どのような時代でも無いことを感じざるをえません。まあ、思っていてもそううまく行かないのも現実ではありますが‥。
