インスト的　Ｏｆｆｉｃｅチップ　#06

先日WPC TOKYO 2006に行って来ました！
目玉は、Windows Vista。

東京ビッグサイトの３号館分を使った展示会が、Microsoftで１号館分埋まった状態でした。PCを２００台設置して、VistaとOfficeに触れていただこうという趣向でした。

説明員の方もとてもたくさんいて、ウロウロしているとすぐに寄ってきてくれる。
そして決まって口にする説明が、「Vistaはすごいですよ、、、見てください」と・・・

何がすごいのか嫌と言うほど聞かされたのが、これまでのスタートメニューに当たる部分に検索ボックスがついたこと。

その検索ボックスにキーワードを入れると、その上部のメニューがどんどん変化する仕組みです。

例えば、『W』と入力すると、Wで始まるアプリケーションの一覧が表示。
２文字目、３文字目と打ち込んでいくとどんどん絞られていきます。
展示してあるマシンのスペックもよかったのか、、とにかく検索スピードが速かった。

で、この検索はどうやら、プログラム名、ファイル名のほか、ファイルの中にある言葉も見てくれるらしい。

もう、どこに保存したかなんて関係ない状態。
これが当たり前になってしまうのが、少し恐ろしい気がします。
ますます、ファイルだのフォルダの概念がわからない一般層が増えてしまいそうな気配・・・・、時代の流れなのか・・・ついていけるだけついて行きます・・・・

さて、見てきたOfficeもすごかった。
私の一番気に入った機能を紹介します。
言葉でうまく伝わるかわかりませんが・・・・
