「本格お粥」の商品化に揺れる

１　破砕米との出会い　　
平成１７年９月、魚沼産コシヒカリを求めて１１７号線を飯山から新潟入れした。
前年はスーパーでコシヒカリを買ったが、今回は米屋さんに立ち寄った。
たまたま客がいなかった為、雑談をした。
その中で爺さん（大旦那）が
「破砕米に困っている、お粥にすると味は変わらないが。」
帰宅後、お粥を作ってみたら簡単にそれも美味しくできあがった。これはこのままにしておくのはもったいない、何とか商品化し、パテントなり、商標意匠なりの差別と考えそれがヒントになり商品化出来ないかアイディアをふくらませる。

２　出願に至まで
アイディアを最初は実用新案くらいで考えていたが、件の知的所有権アドバイザーの方が暖かいアドバイスをしてくた。事前に洗浄し、洗うことな具と共にく直接お粥にする事にもっていけた。

３　商品化の問題　１　　
出願終了と共に試作を開始する。たまたま電子レンジで１０分でできあがった。
そのときは完成した物と勘違いし、試作した商品を知人に配った。大きな勘違いをしていた。

１　使用する容器により全く違った結果になる、満足に炊きあがらない事に気づく。
２　電子レンジにより出力が異なり、同じ条件ではない。
３　水温により出来方が違うことに気づいた。等々、進めば進むほど難問が発生した。

４　商品化の問題　２
電子レンジに向く容器の調査が必要とわかり、ホームセンター、スーパー、１００円ショップ、何店も何店も又、何度と無く足を運んで、電子レンジに向く容器を探した。
探しては実験、条件を変えては実験、１日１０回以上もお粥を作り続けた。

５　水温の問題　３　
社内では放置して水を使用した。だから昨日うまくいったお粥が今朝は芯が残る、その原因を探るため１分ごとに容器の温度を測った、それでわかったことは水道水の蛇口の温度が５℃しかなく、１分で２２℃までしか上昇しないことであった。
水温５℃と夏場の２０℃以上とは電子レンジの時間が１分違う。１０分お粥を売り物にしようとしたらこの１分が致命傷になる。

６　問題解決
いろいろな問題点で心が揺らぎかけていた。取引先の営業マンが立ち寄り、以前渡したサンプルの評価を聞いた。
「美味しかったですよ。家族３人で食べました。両親がこんな米があるのかと感心していました。」といわれた。できばえを聞いたところガスコンロで作ったという。
電子レンジにこだわりすぎていた。ガスコンロなら失敗せずに出来る。
これは　

目から鱗　　でした。

何であんなに電子レンジにこだわったのか、主流をガスコンロに置き、電子レンジでも出来ますなら問題ないではないかときずいた。

７　今後の展開

すべて無塩で

「さっぱりお粥」　お米の味を大切に具を少なくした

「野菜お粥」　具を野菜中心にし、それなりの栄養を確保

「元気粥」　風邪等の元気の無いい時用で、緑黄食野菜の人参増量で、発芽　大豆粉、テンぺ加え、更に希望により生姜湯添付　

「寒天お粥」　ダイエット目的で、寒天粉入り

「野菜寒天｝　　ダイエット用で、緑黄色野菜の人参を多めに、発芽大豆粉、テンぺを入れ、必要な栄養素を考慮したの品揃えに各梅粥、みそ粥を計画。梅フレーク、乾燥みそは別梱包で好みに合わせて使用してもらう。

無塩、塩（消費者が用意）、梅、みそと２０種類のお粥が出来る計算である
