WEB2.0って知ってます？
バージョン番号
バージョン番号が大きいほど、製品が長く続いているという目安にもなるわけですが、たまに戦略上の理由で、番号を一つすっ飛ますものがあったりします。まぁ、基本的にはバージョン番号が上がれば新しいわけです。
ウェブのバージョンアップ？
では、誰も管理できないウェブの世界はどうなんでしょう。「今日からウェブはバージョン2.0になりました。」なんて言われても、困りますね。「なんのこっちゃ？」です。でも、最近はWEB2.0という言葉をよく目にするようになってきています。私も最初にWEB2.0という文字を目にしたときは、
「なんか変わるのか？ 使っているソフトを変えなきゃならないのか？ また、勉強しなきゃならないのか？」
なんて思って、ぞっとしました。
WEB2.0
「何でもかんでもWEB上でシームレスにサービスできます！」
WEB1.0では静的な情報を提供するだけだったものを利用者に合わせて動的に提供する。例えば、時刻表を提供して「あとは自分で考えてね」だったものが、出発地点、目的地、時刻を入れれば路線や乗換えまで提案してくれるようになってますね。また、一方通行だったメディアに利用者が参加できるようになったのも新しいWEBサービスの特徴でしょう。誰でも記事を投稿できる「フリー百科事典Wikipedia」が良い例だと思います。
これらは現時点でのサービスで、そのサービスを享受するにはそのサイトにアクセスしないといけません。しかし、WEB2.0ではそれらがシームレスに繋がる世界だそうです。あるブログでは、
大枠の意味合いとしては、Web1.0の静的なWebであったり、Web1.5のサイトの独立性が高いダイナミックなWebとは異なり、サーバやコンテンツ同士がシームレスに連動され、インターネットが社会的なネットワークとして動作すると言う様な意味合いです。と書かれています。
WEB2.0時代
では、サービスを提供する側はどうすれば良いでしょう？これについては私の限られたりソースではなんともいえません。ただ、常に最新技術や最新動向を把握しておかなければならないだろうということは想像できます。しかし、あまりに進歩が速いITの世界、常に最新の技術や動向に追いつけと言われても難しいですよね。ね。ね。
