反射性の高い商品撮影の難しさ
反射性の高い商品の撮影は難しい。最も適切と思われる部分に
露光をあわせても、輝度の高い部分がシロトビしてしまったりする。
シロトビとは、修復不可能な白色部分のことを言う。
また、ミラーなどは撮影している本人が商品に写りこむことから、
きわめて厄介な被写体といえる。
反射性の高い商品は意外に多い
コンサルタントとして数々の商品をWebで売ってもらっている。 そんななか反射性の高い商品は意外に多い。例えば、①オタマなどの キッチンツール、②フォーク、ナイフなどの食器、③刃物、④ミラー、 ⑤ガラス製品、⑥宝石など枚挙に暇がない。
コンサルティング現場での撮影環境
制約条件
本来ならスタジオ撮影が望ましい商品であっても、顧客の要望や コンサルティング環境では、ベストな環境で撮影ができるとは限らない。 そこで、制約条件の多い中での商品撮影の工夫が必要になる。
デジタル一眼レフ撮影の工夫
いくつかの創意工夫によって、思った以上の商品撮影が可能になって きた。以下にその工夫を示す。
- 1.反射性や屈折光の多い商品は背景は黒いものをおくとよい（図1)
- 2.上記のような商品の画像加工では、ややアンダー目の方が美しくみえる
- 3.宝石のような商品は、逆光を利用すると怪しい光を放つ（図2)
- 4.そのために、光源を下におき、ガラスのうえに商品をおき逆光撮影 を行う
使えるものは親でも使え
出先などでは理想的な撮影機材を得られるとは限らないので 、客先にあるものを使って撮影機材として使う。
意外に便利な道具は次の通りである。
- 1.椅子:商品を置くと便利なことと、シートの色が 赤、茶などと背景色として適切なものが多い
- 2.上着:紺色、黒などの地味な色が多く背景として 適する。また、生地ゆえ柔軟性も高い
- 3.ガラスや電球:比較的調達可能で、ちょっと小粋な撮影 が可能
